| 2nd Oct 2011 | On Saturday 29th of October 2011 we are having an open day, a splendid chance to come and have a nose around, come and see what we do, talk to staff and tutors and have a tour of the music village and a tour of the studios, with hands on instruments and demonstrations - coffee shop - music shop. Bring friends and/or family and make it a day out |  |
| 14th Sept | For all those that have come up against a venue that has insisted that you only use equipment that has been PAT safety checked and those that avn't yet, - read on. As the law stands it is a legal requirement for all portable mains electrical appliances (your amps etc.) to be tested to a recognized safety standard (PAT- 'Portable Appliance Test') that are to be used around members of the public and/or people at work. The good news is these checks can be undertaken at Greenbank now, as Doog has now a certificate of qualification and the equipment to do it. We are able to offer very competative rates if you bring your gear in, like during a rehearsal, no minimum quantity. Click here for more info |

The recording studio has just undergone a massive expansion and upgrade. It now boasts a large control room including sofa and drinks machine. Digital and analogue can now be tandamed for bigger sounds, there are 4 separate live rooms including dedicated drum room and vocal room. Check out the pics on the studio page. A new sister website has been created dedicated to the wedding car hire side of the business - 'Doog's big red car' - can also be used for prom nights. In addition Amanda's C70 convertible Volvo can be used as a Bridesmaids car

STUDIO WORKS
Greenbank has, just started 'an introduction to the studio' type course, this is aimed at those who have never seen the inside of a recording studio before, and are unsure how the process works. It is fascinating to see and be there, the sessions will be given by our resident studio engineer Rob Kemp. The prices and details can be obtained by contacting Greenbank by phone or email.

For the first time in a very long time Doog won a raffle - a dinner for two at a top hotel - WOW. Unfortunately they forgot to mention that the hotel hasn't been built yet !!!! Yes People its Halloween - if you want something to do, why not come and see 'Doog & the Chameleons' perform at the Chequers Streatley on the 31st of October, the band will all have their costumes! (good ale, and good food served all day)
